‘mysqueeze’ by roland kreiter
‘mysqueeze’ by young german designer roland kreiter is a stainless steel citrus juicer with a hollow body. deceptively simple in form and operation, the product resembles the shape of a lemon and lacks any kind of extraneous handle. when in use, it utilizes the two halves of a fruit as grips for the juicing process. the product was the winning entry of a competition run by mydeco in collaboration with MGX and philippe starck which invited design students between the age of 18-25 to create an intelligent and practical object. the italian manufacturer alessi will produce the juicer, which will soon be available for purchase.
