designed for danish brand HAY, the ‘balcony’ collection by ronan and erwan bouroullec is an elegant new range of outdoor furniture comprising chairs, tables, and benches.⁠ available in a complementary color palette of anthracite, chalk beige, dark forest, desert green, and iron red, the duo’s latest work presents a bold and distinctly square design language softened by laser-welded holes.

providing stability, comfort, and versatility for outdoor use 

ronan and erwan bouroullec (see more here) used powder-coated steel with a weather-proof finish to create each furniture piece in the balcony collection for HAY (see more here). additionally, apart from softening the overall design, the duo injected the laser-welded holes to create stability and comfort in any type of setting. 

as such, the collection provides a set of home objects that are suitable for all kinds of outdoor spaces — from home gardens to restaurant terraces and indeed balconies. the blend of different hues also means that the furniture line is suited to various styles. you can find the complete set of chairs, tables, and benches on the retail platform SCP.
