on the occasion of the biennial event, designers’ saturday in langenthal, switzerland, AXOR – the designer brand from hansgrohe – has shown the results of a collaborative project by the bouroullec brothers and students of ECAL university of art and design, lausanne, switzerland. the young designers were asked to reinterpret and develop objects around the AXOR bourollec bathroom collection, which was serving as a starting point for each participant. the collective body of work aims to illustrate the individual needs of the bathroom space.

  • The best Sink ever!! and Mobile Fittings… GREAT design for the people like me havin Lumbar Disk Hernia problem. Because people having back pain cant bend fwd to wash their faces at standard counter height… (btw who set this silly standard for bathroom counters? it is not ergonomic )

  • the designers here are used to servants, house cleaner and maids. why does it have to be complicated, when you can design/do it so simple – and beautiful.

  • The kone is really an innovation. have you ever been dreaming of moving the fittings away, for example when you wash your face or your hair in the basin?
It’s new and not only like the swiss cheese soap old wine in new skins!

  • I like the sink, more functional than just a single level. Also the accessories can be unlimited. Great work!
