during the milan design week 09, established & sons presented the ‘quilt’ chair and sofa by ronan and erwan bouroullec. the visual appearance of comfort is articulated through the unusual upholstery of the ‘quilt’ series of chair and sofas. a pocketed outer layer, constructed from hi-tech stretch fabric, has individual foam pieces inserted within it.

  • I love the sofa. It has a little alien-y/futuristic feel but it looks so comfortable to sit on. Great job.

    Cheers!
