100% lampross lovegrove has designed the 100% task lamp for danese. the desk lamp is made from 5mm thick aluminum sheeting which has been cut, bent and painted white, and includes a printed circuit and touch-sensitive dimmer. instead of hiding the circuitry of the lamp and its electrical components, lovegrove has exposed them on the outer chassis of the metal structure on the kapton orange that runs down the neck of the lamp.

through the use of an electronic, serigraphed ABS card which is part of the light’s body, one can control the intensity of the lamp via an embedded sensor. the LED, electronic components and touch dimmers can work only from the kapton circuit, with LED angle calculations dictating the inclination of the light’s head.

100% marries the product, its user and high-technology in a simple form.
