sandro lominashvili has introduced his new chair design titled ‘1+1’. the georgian designer has deconstructed the archteype meaning of the chair and then constructed his new piece, with the idea of multi-functionality in mind.

this multi-functionality, is evident in lominashvili’s design, in which all four legs of the chair have more than one function. in other words, the front legs continue above seat level, bending into the armrests, while the back legs curve and form a distinct backrest for the seat. the chair is made out of fiberglass, and its dimensions are h:750, w:500, d:495 mm.
