sanitov bicycles focuses on producing sustainable solutions that are related to movement and transport in the urban environment. their vision is to ‘make the urban everyday easier and more sustainable by creating design solutions that might, in turn, shape the future city.‘

they have developed a cargo bike whose design is meant to accommodate the needs of urban dwellers. the ‘sanitov CB’ brings together the traditional chinese cargo-bicycle style and technological ‘know-how’ with the functional approach of danish design and scandinavian minimalist aesthetics.

the bicycle features full leather handles and saddle, a stainless steel and aluminum frame and rack, and a GPS tracker-system with a better-driven engine. the battery is utilized for traveling over long distances or when transporting heavy goods – a supplement that ensures convenience and usability of the bicycle in all situations.

sanitov is the first company to incorporate a GPS-tracker as standard equipment in their cargo-bicycles. the integrated device facilitates the tracking of one’s personal data ensures the security of the bicycle should it get lost or stolen.

the personal data can be used to generate the user’s distance covered by bike, mapping in real-time the estimated values of how many calories one has burnt during their trip, and lastly, records the average contribution one has made in reducing carbon-dioxide emissions.
