'save' by katarina hall

katarina hall design studio is based in stockholm, sweden and designs both products and interiors. ‘save’ is her latest collection and features a desk, chest and wardrobe. the pieces are made from a combination of pine and mdf, which has been painted all white with accents in bright primary tones. abandoned houses and their boarded up windows and doors inspired the design. ‘save will be part of ‘ung7’, a touring exhibition of young swedish design organized by svenks form and riksutstallningar. the exhibit will premiere at next month’s stockholm furniture fair.

  • they are nice and simple, minus the choice of using mdf. Besides being cheap to buy mdf, has more cons then pros in my book.
