scholten & baijings: 'truly dutch'

‘knopstoel’ pegged chair

‘conversation pieces for the interior’ are contemporary, decorated furniture items, designed by dutch studio scholten & baijings.

the collection comprises five items that constitute a contemporary interpretation of masterpieces from the zuiderzee museum collection: marker kast (marken cabinet), hangoortafel (drop-leaf table), flap-aan-de-wand (tilt-top table), butte (wooden travel case) and knopstoel (pegged chair).

the pieces will be shown at romeo gigli café / design academy eindhoven, via angelo fumagalli 6 during the milan design week 09.
