SCHOTT CERAN® DESIGN AWARDS 2017 competition: winners announced!

for the SCHOTT CERAN® DESIGN AWARDS 2017 competition, hundreds of applicants from across the world submitted to designboom their ideas on how to bring glass-ceramic to the future. using the acronym FUSICS, the german-based world market leader in glass-ceramic cooktop panels asked people to take into consideration function, urbanism, sustainability, illumination, connectivity and social experience.

we are delighted to announce the three winners that were selected by a panel of 10 world-renowned creative jurors and that demonstrated innovation, quality, practical value and creativity following the specific guidelines in the call-for-entry.

additionally, SCHOTT has decided to give the 30 finalists the chance for an additional award – the people’s choice award, which will be voted from the visitors during the london design fair. the winner of the people’s choice award will be announced on their facebook channel on sunday, 24th september after 4pm.
