a sign of solidarity and unity during the coronavirus era, digital artist seba morales presents HOME — a hybrid interpretation of typography and occupiable space. the project is born of an initiative by typographic designer alejandro paul to play with the word ‘home’ using a font by his studio, sudtipos foundry. the argentina-based digital artist envisions a series of four panels, each housing a luminous, playfully designed space in glowing pink.

when organized as a collection of four panels, the series by seba morales most clearly expresses the message of HOME, a cheerful reminder to value our own spaces during this unprecedented era. each of the four letters in turn becomes abstracted when views on its own. the boundaries of each letter are formalized into partitions, shelving elements, and filleted wall thicknesses. the collaborative project is conceived by alejandro paul, director of typographic design studio sudtipos foundry.
