the ‘KU’KI’ table by setsu & shinobu ito for riva 1920 contains a polished metal structure and solid wood top. the name ‘KU’KI’ comes from the japanese translation meaning ‘air’, which makes reference to its lightweight practicality. the furniture piece which was presented at salone del mobile 2016 forms a bold ‘T’ shape when viewed from the side. the two supporting legs have been welded and bent to create firm abstracted lines that protrude inwards, developing a strong impression upon the minimal design.
