made by japanese design duo shibaya, ‘stone lamp’ was showcased in designboom’s ‘asia now‘ exhibition taking place at dwell on design in los angeles.

‘stone lamp’ is made from wood and natural stone. each stone selected varies in shape, making each lamp one of a kind. when lit up, the round wood panel featuring a cutout of a butterfly is illuminated through an opening drilled within the stone surface.
