shoulderpod, a startup from barcelona specialized in developing and crafting professional smartphone equipment for mobile creatives and visual storytellers have designed ‘S1’, a professional smartphone rig. conceived as an ideal portable solution for mobile photographers, filmmakers and journalists, the compact device can also be mounted onto a tripod thanks to its universal 1/4 inch threaded base. featuring a ‘filmmaker grip’ and ‘ traveler stand’, the accessory attaches to the right side of a smartphone, adding an ergonomic aluminum extension and functional wrist strap for maximum security. unlike other smartphone holdsters, the S1 grip can be used for taking pictures or filming even under the harshest conditions.
