israeli design studio shufuni has made a collection of furniture, for indoor our outdoor use, called ‘toffee twist.’ inspiration comes from the texture and aesthetic of the urban landscape that surrounds us; asphalt, road markings, outcrops of grass from between paving slabs, all of which is reflected in the choice of polystyrene, synthetic rope and artificial grass as materials.
