following recent trend surveys showing that more and more people bring food to their workplace, students from ECAL’s master in product design were asked to develop lunch boxes, food containers and accessories for swiss manufacturer SIGG. led by designer michel charlot, the series of concepts consider different on-the-go eating habits between european, asian and american cultures. from tiffin-like designs to portable ceramic-influenced aluminum tableware, a selection of the designs will be presented during the ISPO munich (international main exhibition for sport business) from january 26 to 29, 2014.

‘a lunch box for children between 3 and 6 years old. the two eyes embossed in the bottom of the box let children imagine and create their own character with their food.’
