‘soft block’ by torafu architects

the ‘soft block’ cushion series by japanese studio torafu architects offers a solution for rearrangeable furniture. modeled after concrete blocks in diverse designs, the modular pieces can be composed into a variety of configurations. the cushions utilize the ‘fine revo‘ foam material by asleep.

  • Why not ? Kind of Legos for adults but Lego are solidaries… When you are sat on this built armchair and you want to incline your back, does the blocks of the back fall too (with you!) ?!

  • I thinks is suitable to be lay on the floor or more for deco purpose. I dun think the cushions can be the backing of a chair, would it fall??? I couldn’t see the support for the back…
