the ‘labo pendant lamp’ is the latest installation in the labo collection by italian lighting manufacturer penta. the lamp, designed by daniel debiasi and federico sandri of something. design studio, is composed of three glass domes. all are connected to a central, tubular body, that carries cables through the object and into the ceiling. ‘labo pendant lamp’ is made from a single piece of borosilicate glass, with metal components available in black nickel or brushed bronze finishes. wires are covered with braided fabric, to give the piece a friendly, less-industrial aura.
