‘sonoro’ by andrey dokuchaev
originally showcased at salon satellite worldwide 2012 in moscow, russian designer andrey dokuchaev has developed the ‘sonoro’ audio dock station for iPhones. the speaker is made by integrating hand-crafted technology on a potter’s wheel and covered with a black glaze. the project is presented as a visual image of sound, expressed in ceramics. its unique construction works by principle of a gramophone speaker, only without using electricity.
