paris-based designer constance guisset has created the ‘drapée’ chair for petite friture, presented during maison et objet spring, 2014. the piece is made of skewed steel wires, with the lines between the back and the seat mimicking the fluid motion of a drape. the gathered structure is framed with a curved outline that crosses delicately and extends to form the base. able to be used for both indoor and outdoor environments, the ‘drapée’ chair is also stackable so it can be easily stored away.
