stanislav katz is an industrial designer from latvia, one of his design proposals is this ‘fan clock’. colored space between the hour and minute hands suggest a traditional folded hand-fan.

  • Absolutely love the cheese grater! Can’t believe it hasn’t already been thought of.
    I like the clock, but not sure how it would work in reality – wouldn’t the overlap cause it to mess up?

  • I think the only way the clock could work is that when the two hands met to form a complete circle they would then have to reset back for the next minute so the fan is closed.

    Grater might do but would give inconsistent shreds of cheese.
    Mirror is kinda ugly if you ask me.
