stefan diez has developed a chair for danish company HAY that can be shipped in a small, compact, flat box and assembled virtually without the use of any additional tools. ‘kitt’, which draws its name from the way in which it has been conceived to be packaged and delivered, is defined by a generous seat pan and back that both feature rounded expressions. constructed in stained ash veneer, the overall design is supported by solid wood legs, and a sturdy nylon frame that resembles timber, offering combination of materials that have subtle visual differences. additionally, you can pair various colored components if you wish to have a bit more of a contrast.
