stone edge collection by A-nrd studio draws upon urban architectural elements
A-nrd studio’s ‘stone edge’ collection reinterprets architectural elements seen within the urban environment. the flat-pack table and lamp both use perforated metal and marble, within a new contemporary context, adding a playful yet utilitarian feel to an interior.
‘stone edge’ light
the ‘stone edge’ table and wall lamp fuses modern LED strip lighting with geometric punched metal finishes and bevelled stone skirtings, pairing luxury materials such as blue granite, tea rose pink or terrazzo marble with brushed brass and chrome metalwork. the collection was conceived by milanese designer alessio nardi, who founded A-nrd in 2015. the overall aim was to subvert the preconceived usage of the material, by adding a new urban layer to the collection of furniture.
