singaporean design studio juju revisits the experience of sitting and illuminating spaces through their collection of furniture and lighting designs. by considering textures and gestures, the studio consisting of timo wong and priscilla lui hope to introduce a new visual language to the archetypal model of a chair or lamp. each piece has been produced in singapore by local craftsmen in their workshop space.

the ‘platypus’ chair is designed to have an exaggerated arm giving users extra space for their every day activities.

‘bambi’ is a low-sitting chair featuring a beech handle that is seamlessly connected to its base legs.

‘U.F.O’ available in two sizes 300mm x 300mm / 200mm x 300mm

‘U.F.O’ or ‘unidentifiable fat objects’ are low stools supported by thick base legs.

‘duck’ is a lamp that is both an ambient light and a task lamp. the form reminiscent of a duck is both functional and expressive at the same time with a nodding range of 40 degrees. the design is available in blue and green with LED fitting.

‘crane’ lamp has a total swivel range of 90 degrees. this offers the flexibility of using the design as an ambient light against the wall or as a directional light while reading. it is available in salmon red or cool yellow with matte lacquer finish and LED fitting.
