rotterdam-based studio lorier has designed a new ceramic collection dubbed city plate. featuring porcelain platters shaped in the texture of well-known cities, the collection is topped with the main architectural landmarks of each location. the resulting trays can be used for presenting food, storing items or as a great addition to any interior. ‘as our client base has grown exponentially all over the world, we wanted to create a project that celebrates all these cities, with its unique look and characteristics.’ says sander lorier from studio lorier

with ten different cities to choose from — new york, san francisco, chicago, paris, london, berlin, hong kong, sydney, rotterdam and amsterdam — the city plate collection by studio lorier allows you to eat and share your food while you let the dressing fill the rivers. this can be seen in particular in the london plate, where the thames river becomes tainted by soy sauce ready to have a sushi piece dipped in it.

this project is currently seeking funding on kickstarter
