paris-based studio millimètre installed a monumental, six meter high tree in the arco iris nursery in boulogne billancourt, a west paris suburb. ‘we wanted kids to imagine monkeys or parrots coming out from the foliage’, says the studio. the interior element is made of plywood boards, with leaves composed of suspended, cut paper sheets. all parts were made with CNC and assembled on site.
