studiooo factory: mobile tail

‘mobile tail’ by studiooo factory

korean studiooo factory (sangwoo park & jongwon park) have sent us images of their ‘mobile tail’, a support stand for portable electronic devices. the design is derived from the notion that mobile devices are much like pets – accompanying us wherever we go.

the ‘tail’ is fashioned off that of a dalmation dog and can easily attach and be removed from one’s various mobile devices via a suction cup. it has the capabilities of displaying your cell phone, blackberry, iphone etc.,  vertically or horizontally. it is made from a flexible liquid silicone rubber (LSR) – a non-reactive, high-purity material. one percent of its sales are donated to animal conservation groups.
