as of yesterday (march 26 2020) a quarter of the world’s population has now entered lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic according to reports from BBC news. with such a vast number of people staying indoors to prevent the spread of the virus, hugo suissas and tiago silva have decided to convert every national flag into a new ‘at home’ version.

from jamaica to japan, each flag has been modified with the addition of a pitched roof, evoking the image of a house. to complement the new designs, the duo has also created the concept: ‘stay home. everywhere. fight COVID-19.’
