the chair which took four years to design was influenced by the structure of plants. flat, branch-like ribs are asymmetrically intertwined on three levels to form the seat shell of ‘vegetal’, which is shaped as an irregular circle and supported by four legs. made from batched dyed polyamide the chair went through various trial and error processes to be produced. it will be released in early 2009.
