‘wave with soul’ by tadao ando for venini
japanese architect tadao ando has created ‘wave with soul’, a rectangular planar glass figure for italian manufacturer venini. the curved venetian glass object uses strict geometry with a modified surface to create a three dimensional piece which retains its simplicity while modulating the light. the planes can be overlapped or combined in a variety of ways to construct a range of products, such as lamps or light installations. ‘wave with soul’ will be on show at milan design week 2012 this coming april.
