derived from frank lloyd wright’s pendant light design for wisconsin’s taliesin theater, this compact table lamp has been reproduced by japanese company yamagiwa. produced under the license of the frank lloyd wright foundation, the design allows comfortable indirect light emanating from three light boxes to be distributed via directional boards. red, wright’s favorite color, has been applied as square motifs on the main body of the lamp. the famous red square was used as a ‘chop’ on drawings generated by his studio.
