tamarit motorcycles’ helios pays hommage to greek mythology

Tamarit Motorcycles, a custom motorbike workshop based in Alicante, Spain, dedicates a café racer creation, named Helios, after the Greek God of Sun. The tailored triumph bike is the result of countless hours of craftsmanship where features, such as a modifiable engine, a monocoque frame, and custom headlights, all contribute to Helios’ deific style.

helios’ meticulous attention to detail

To start the project, Tamarit’s team refurbished the original engine to meet the future owner’s requirements, such as adjusting valve seats, fitting oversized pistons, grinding cylinders, replacing valve seals and chains, and planning cylinder heads. The hydraulic monocoque can, unconventionally, be lifted up for easy access to the bike’s parts. Helios delivers a distinctive sound thanks to a dual exhaust system fitted under the cowl. Front and rear wheels of 18- and 17-inches, respectively, with a lenticular rim reduces turbulence and improves stability at high speeds.

Helios is a pure classic café racer bike dressed in multiple orange coats to give it an exclusive sunset color. Like two bright eyes, the double headlights of the front fairing are painted in a cream color to match the leather seat. All the metal parts were then finished in chrome plating for a clean, shiny aesthetic.

top of the range modern technology incorporated into design

Tamarit enhanced top of the range technology into the design of Helios. The bike features a motogadget odometer that is embedded into the seatpost, and an engine control unit that serves as the bike’s brain, linking directly to a smartphone app for easy monitoring.
