the same way as water bottles constantly update their labels to actualize them, the base of the TARA

faucet is 2 m lower, the tube is slimmer,… the original TARA was introduced to the market in 1992.
TARA has become the most often copied product in the fittings industry. more than 250 manufacturers
around theworld offer products which are copies of or inspired by TARA.

sketch by sieger design. the reduction of the diameter of handles and rosettes and extension of the fitting body – even if only by a few millimeters – ensure that the new Tara appears clearly slimmer, more upright and fine. the geometry of the cross handles seem even more precise. three product innovations for washstands and showers are expressions of Tara’s ongoing evolution.

andreas dornbracht, CEO of dornbracht (here featured with his father aloys dornbracht, founder of dornbracht) says:’an archetype satisfies a longing for serenity. it provides orientation. feeling comfortable with a product can also mean not having to grapple with it. many avant garde products are initially confusing and provocative. you often have to occupy yourself with them intensively. this is not the case with TARA. as soon as there were technical improvements, we made them available to our customers. we introduced the X-control valve two years ago. when turning it on, the water volume no longer increases linearly. it is now possible to control it much more finely in the first 45 degrees. now we have added to the classic TARA. a few contemporary aesthetic requirements. with moderation and subtlety.’
