the designer‘s new interiors set a new trend for the city’s style and a strong reference for hotel guests. the hotel’s concept lies in the duality between the bodies of water that surround it: the fresh water from a natural spring, originally built along the hotel, and the salt water from the ocean where it falls into.

the interiors include a tunnel of varying experiences, offering multiple paths for guests to take. the tunnel guides users from the most alternative part of marseille, to the docks, or to the well. the vivid color palette for the project’s interiors caused a major impact in the area, building on the hotel mediterranean’s soul. the main hues include yellow, orange, red and blue, complementing each other and providing a lively stay for hotel users.

by juxtaposing early 20th century billboards and the urban graffiti present in marseille, the designers played with the graphic elements in the spaces. the project’s creative mood and energetic atmosphere gives the hotel’s interiors the flexible, modern and provocative effect that distinguishes nhow’s concept from other hotels.
