‘bicycle’ exhibition – lagombra bicycle rollercoaster

the bicycle is an important part of the dutch culture. to honour this age old mode of transport and lifestyle the ‘bicycle’ exhibition has been created, displaying the evolution of bikes and bike designs for the future. the exhibition runs over 100 days and consists of a diverse range of lectures, activities and trips. swedish designer lagombra has designed a bicycle rollercoaster for the MU art centre, eindenhoven to coincide with the ‘bicycle’ exhibition. made from raw wood and scaffolding with its highest peak over 2m high, it’s not for the faint hearted.
