the free university of bolzano’s faculty of design and art will hold three exhibitions as parallel events to ‘manifesta7‘: the european biennial of contemporary art, trentino – south tyrol, italy from july 19 to november 2, 2008. one of the three exhibitions from the university of bozen will be : ‘alles in butter’:

you should not play with your food! or should you? we each have our very own eating habits.
by living in a community, we have, in the main, adapted ourselves to certain standards and rules that we call
gastronomic culture, or more simply our eating habits. students of the faculty of design and art of the free university
of bolzano, supervised by designer and lecturer steffen kaz, will be discussing the topic of eating and drinking,
linked to our habits and standards, in order to analyse and unravel them in their work in an expert manner‘.

the three exhibitions that will be presented as parallel events to manifesta 7, are: ‘vladimir archipov meets bolzano’, ‘archivio’ and ‘alles in butter’. all will be opened on tuesday 15 july 2008 at 18:00 in sernesistraße 1, bozen the exhibitions are open until 21 september 2008, daily from 10:00 to 18:00.
