french designer arnold goron has his hands in many camps. we previously featured a range of his ceramic designs and now he has sent us his latest project a special lighting installation. ‘the grappe fruit’ is a collection of pendants lamps hand made from earthenware. each of the 13 lamps is a different colour inside and out and each was hand-thrown instead of cast. the lamps also each have different forms and sizes. while ceramic isn’t a common lamp shade material, the choice is logical for goron’s experience with ceramic.
