thoughts on the NY underground map

you might remember that earlier this week we linked to michael hertz discussing his design for the NY underground map with the gothamist. having read the piece michael johnson (of johnson banks) has devoted his ‘thought for the week‘ to the subject – and lets just say he doesn’t seem very impressed:
