designer timothy liles designed this series of chairs with the aim of reducing them to their bare minimum. the pieces are built using maple wood and traditional joinery employed in the simplest form possible. both chairs have three legs stabilized with two cross braces. the high back chair has a three rung backrest while the low back chair has only two. each piece is essential to the structure of the design. the lightness of the maple wood matches the chairs’ design aesthetic.
