german designer tobias fraenzel has designed ‘champ’ for italian furniture manufacturer campeggi which was presented during milan design week 2010. the small, sofa hides a very special function. by lifting up the red back cushion and simply fixing it, ‘champ’ becomes a punching bag. its design makes it safe for everyone to use. ‘champ’ in sofa form ‘champ’ being used as a sofa

  • Probably one of very few refreshing pieces in recession troubled Milan (http://fwd4.me/Aiz).

    Congrats Mr. Fraenzel!

Would even love to see this in far better fabrics (too thin and plain tough, something more textured, to straighten unevenness and transitions.
