created by japanese designer tokujin yoshioka is the shimmering, polychromatic space installation conceived for the LEXUS new model HS. due to the refraction of the light caused by overlapping optical films on one another, the transparent skin gives off the illusion of a dual portrait – a hazy image that flirts with the intersection of reality and fantasy. the piece was fabricated to generate an experience as if immersed in a mystical aura.
