a fragile birch veneer shade sits on top of an aluminum and steel body and solid birch base. the shade, bent into a cone-shaped object, emits a softly filtered light. multiple points of rotation – one at the base and one at the shade – allow users to adjust the direction and amount of illumination.

the lamp, recently shown at the imm cologne fair and the stockholm furniture fair 2011, is available in a variety of colors.
