tony buckland of minneapolis based mono distills feathered friends to their bare minimum in the ‘birds of minnesota’ series. the illustrative collection includes over two dozen birds all found within the northern state. defining characteristics of each are reduced as much as possible, but always retain their corresponding creature’s essential identity.
