following their commitment to only use natural materials, italian furniture company discipline has commissioned norweigan designer lars beller fjetland to develop a chair for their 2014 collection. presented during milan design week, ‘touchwood’ is characterized by an empty void in the seat pan, a thin and elastic body, and an ergonomic grip to enhance movement in space. concieved in ash, the stackable object is available in deep monochrome tone finishes, which highlight the vitality of the wood grain.
