at the 13th edition of designers’ saturday in langenthal, switzerland, a number of designers and products were featured at the exhibition space in the girsberger sitzmöbel building.

comprised of furniture builders bernhard roth, volker schreiber, michael wyss, triplex presented ‘tapatri‘, which consists of a tray top and a collapsible tripod base system and utilizes three wooden rods pinned together at their middle. held together by a wire, the legs can be folded out for the top to snap into place. available in a variety of different colours, the tables come in two sizes for anything from cocktail use to a low couch companion.

‘geh’ stell’ by marchgut at the blickfang exhibition space

product designers christoph march and marek gut of linz-based studio marchgut showcased their take on a beer bench entitled ‘geh stell’. the robust seating utilizes a set of metal leg ends which can be slipped on to any plank of wood to transform an otherwise abandoned floorboard into a quick-fix piece of furniture. the made to order legs allow the users to customize and personalize their bench without compromising on practicality.
