esther schulze-tsatsas and dimitrios tsatsas, owners of german design house ‘TSATSAS‘, have opened their first storefront in the city of frankfurt. the duo themselves brought the space from concept to reality with the goal to place emphasis on products, rather than architectural elements. extreme care was taken while organizing the space into distinct zones, and together with a simplified palette of industrial materials creates an unmistakable visual identity.

‘TSATSAS atelier’

the ‘TSATSAS atelier’ features a five-meter shelving unit that serves as primary showcase for the brand’s extensive bag and accessories collection. marble shelf surfaces were imported from dimitrios’ native greece, and act as an elegant backdrop to various products hand-made in their nearby offenbach production facility. however, all prototyping and design is to be exclusively developed in the new location’s integrated studio. in addition to the workshop and showroom, the building also includes office facilities and a dedicated sales area.
