caterina moretti, head designer and director of mexico-based peca studio, has introduced the ‘umo roca’ sculptural fire pit. the creation is made out of volcanic rock, shaped by expert craftspeople, armed by chisel and hammer, chipping away to create symmetry, balance, function, and form.

the fire pit/sculture by peca studio combines the unique, raw aesthetics of volcanic rock along with the latent power of fire. the object features alternating rough and polished surfaces, which further highlight the interesting design. umo rocka can envelop any fire and embellish any exterior. its energy becomes the core element of social gatherings, while its warmth evokes a meditative atmosphere.
