carved by hand in his workshop, set in gardone val trompia, bescia, muffolini is the heir to an artesanal legacy going back five hundred years, renowned worldwide for luxury firearms manufacturing. the new partnership will see this mastering of technique applied to unimatic’s modello due design, a watch whose streamlined aesthetic makes the perfect canvas for embellishment.

the unique service is complimented by a collaborative design process, in line with unimatic’s vision to supply unique designs and non serial editions. each timepiece is studied together by both muffolini and its future owner, who can request any finish and particular detail.

the service allows users to apply ornate designers to their watches

the engraving process takes at least 30 hours of careful work and can produce various results, from exquisite, traditional english ‘rose and scroll’, to ornate drawing. once finished, black paints or inks are used to create different layers of depth by darkening removed and lower areas of exposed metal.
