contemporary unimatic watches introduce italian-made diving collection

unimatic watches by the italian creatives simone nunziato and giovanni moro, were first introduced in 2015 with the ‘modello uno’ line. these timepieces strive to combine design elements from vintage and contemporary watches in order to create a perfect balance between both styles. following on from this achievement, 2016 sees the launch of the ‘modello uno U1-B’, ‘U1-BN’, and the ‘modello due’ made in italy diving ranges.

the unimatic watches ‘modello uno U1-B’

the unimatic watches’ ‘modello U1-B’ and ‘U1-BN’, kitted in a black heavy duty NATO strap but available with a silver or black watch piece, both feature a high readability black dial with a maxi maker in super-luminova® old radium lume. as well, the double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal of the timepiece’s face helps provide the best performance in every light condition.

it features a solid 316 brushed stainless steel case and an 8mm diameter crown 

likewise, the uniwatch watches’ ‘modello due’, a made in italy field timepiece, offers a high readability but uses an olive drab dial with super-luminova® C1 lume, color-matching ghost hands, and white graphic trims. furthermore, its thick, ultra double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides high performance when diving, no matter what the conditions are. this field watch is accompanied by a burnt siena brown strap and a brushed SS unimatic signed custom buckle, which is easy to remove thanks to the military influenced drilled lugs.

the high performance watch is water resistant to 30 atm

overall in terms of technical performance, the ‘modello uno U1-B’, ‘U1-BN’ and ‘modello due’ watches offer an individually-tested water resistance of 30 atm (300 meters or 1000ft). as well as an impressive time accuracy, which is guaranteed by the NH35A automatic movement, and is tuned to 21600 bph with a 41h power reserve and hacking hands. these important functions help the timepieces transcend from contemporary designs in to high performing diving watches.
