pleyel, france’s oldest piano producer has teamed up with french designer andrée putman to create the ‘voie lactée’ piano. the baby grand piano is made from black lacquer and chrome, while the underside of the lid is a rich blue dotted with stars. a checkerboard music stand and inlay are made with mother of pearl, along with the keyboard itself. putman has combined these luxury materials together in a simple yet refined overall design.
